How to Make Bubble Tea
Ingredients:
- Milk tea powder or tea bags
- Tapioca pearls
- Milk or non-dairy milk alternative
- Sugar or sweetener
- Ice cubes
- Boba straws
Instructions:
- Prepare the Tapioca Pearls: Cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. It typically involves boiling them in water until they become soft and chewy. Rinse them under cold water and set them aside.
- Brew the Tea: If using tea bags, steep them in hot water for the recommended time. If using milk tea powder, follow the instructions on the package to make a concentrated milk tea.
- Add Sweetener: Stir in sugar or a sweetener of your choice into the hot tea until it dissolves completely. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
- Cool the Tea: Let the tea cool down or place it in the refrigerator to chill. You can also add ice cubes to speed up the cooling process.
- Prepare the Bubble Tea: Fill a glass with a generous amount of cooked tapioca pearls. Add the chilled milk tea over the pearls, leaving some space at the top of the glass.
- Add Milk: Pour milk or a non-dairy milk alternative into the glass, leaving some space for stirring.
- Mix and Enjoy: Stir all the ingredients together until well combined. Insert a boba straw and savor the delightful Bubble Tea!
