Tortillas
Tortillas Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
- Add the warm water and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Roll out each ball into a thin, round tortilla using a rolling pin.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side, or until they start to develop brown spots.
- Remove from the skillet and keep warm in a clean kitchen towel.
- Repeat with the remaining dough balls.
