Biff à la Lindström
Biff à la Lindström Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon capers, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon pickled beetroot, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, eggs, breadcrumbs, capers, pickled beetroot, worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well, ensuring all the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties, approximately 2-3 inches in diameter.
- In a frying pan, heat butter or oil over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and nicely browned.
- Serve the Biff à la Lindström patties hot and enjoy!
Note: Biff à la Lindström is traditionally served with boiled potatoes, lingonberry jam, and a cucumber salad.
